Single Serve Metabolism-Boosting Oatmeal

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup oat or almond milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 sliced banana
  • Blackberries (the more the merrier!)
  • 1 tsp of almond or peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp of chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp of flaxseeds
  • Cinnamon

Steps:

  1. Add milk and water to small pot and bring to light boil
  2. Add oatmeal and reduce flame to a simmer, stirring
  3. Cook 3-5 minutes, then add cinnamon, seeds and almond butter
  4. Once oatmeal thickens, pour into bowl and topped with berries and banana
  5. Enjoy!

Tips:

  • Add or substitute any fruit you'd like!
