Watermelon Margarita

No need for added sugar when fresh watermelon is this good, and hydrating! Enjoy this summer inspired margarita year round.

Servings: 3-5

Ingredients:

  • 1 small watermelon
  • 1 large lime
  • Silver Tequila
  • Sea Salt (optional for rim)

Steps:

  1. In a blender, add the flesh of your watermelon, and juice of your lemon. Save the lemon, as we will zest later! Blend until completely pureed.
  2. Use a nut milk back, super fine mesh strainer, or cheese cloth to poor watermelon slush into, and collect pure juice in a bowl.
  3. Let's assemble our drink: Line rim with salt if desired. Add ice, and poor over 3-4 tablespoons tequila and 1 cup juice. Zest a bit of the lemon peel over top, and enjoy!
